Pre-Conference Seminar: Processing Sandtray and Working with Trauma
會前工作坊:沙盤治療在創傷個案中的開展及應用
This 2-day seminar will begin with a brief review of setting up the sand therapy experience and a model of the therapeutic powers of play within the sand tray. The first day will focus on several ways to deepen the client’s experience while processing completed sandtrays. This includes an in-depth use of the Homeyer & Sweeney 6-Step Protocol while integrating the play therapist’s clinical theory with a deeper use of theory in the processing stage. Also, how the play therapist develops insight through the skill of eyes-on-trays. The participant will experience how to engage the client in processing the tray with more depth, including inviting add-ons and figure-play. There will be time to play and practice – hands-in-sand! The second day will focus on an exploration of trauma-informed dynamics, what trauma work looks like in the sand tray and how the sand tray facilitates trauma work. This includes the use and importance of the trauma narrative, life narrative, and family narrative in successful treatment. The value of the family narrative and family script regarding the traumatic event will be discussed. Case studies and examples will be given.
兩天工作坊將從簡短的回顧如何建立沙盤治療的體驗,並介紹在沙盤中遊戲的療癒力是如何展現開始。
第一天的重點在於探討多種方法,以加深個案在完成沙盤後的處理體驗。內容包含深入運用 Homeyer 與 Sweeney 的六步驟流程,同時結合遊戲治療師的臨床理論,並在處理階段更深層地應用理論。此外,也會探討遊戲治療師如何透過「專注於沙盤」的技巧來發展洞察力。參與者將實際體驗如何引導個案更深入地處理沙盤,包括邀請補充物件與物件互動。研習中也會有時間來經驗「碰觸沙子』的遊戲與練習。
第二天則著重於探討「創傷知情」的動力歷程,了解在沙盤中創傷工作的樣貌會如何展現,以及沙盤如何促進創傷工作。內容包含創傷敘事、生命敘事與家庭敘事在成功治療中的運用與重要性,並將討論家庭敘事與家庭劇本在面對創傷事件時的價值。也會有案例研討與實例的分享。
Post-Conference Seminar: Working With Parents Using the Sand Tray
會後工作坊:如何透過沙盤治療,增進家長諮詢技術與親子互動關係
Working with parents is an important, yet often daunting, part of our work as play therapists. Research informs us that therapy prognosis is more effective with parental involvement. Including parents as part of the treatment team will be the underlying premise of this two-day seminar. Case studies and examples will be given.
Parents have a wealth of information that can be very helpful in our understanding of our child-clients and the family dynamics which impact them. They also assist in making the changes needed in the home environment to support the child’s changes occurring during the play therapy sessions.
Initially, we will explore the initial and ongoing parent consultations. Using a sand tray is a way to obtain information from parents in a playful and unintrusive way. This playful modality also gives parents a deeper understanding of how play is therapeutic. Also, doing parent-child dyad work in a parent consultation will explore how this is effective for parent insight, connection to their child, and continued deepening of the parent-child relationship.
Finally, a discussion on how to use sandtray as a form of family play therapy will be explored. Steps on developing a family-sized sand tray and setting up a session will be provided. Various ways to hold a session will be provided and experienced.
A brief review of sand therapy research with families will also be provided.
Participants will have several opportunities over the two days to experience various activities that might be used with parents and families.
與家長合作是遊戲治療工作中重要卻常令人感到棘手的一環。研究顯示,若家長能參與治療,治療的效果與預後會更佳。將家長納入治療團隊,將會是這場為期兩天研習的核心理念。課程中也會提供個案研討與實例分享。
家長擁有豐富的資訊,能幫助我們更深入地理解兒童個案,以及影響他們的家庭動力。同時,家長也能在家庭環境中進行必要的調整,以支持孩子在遊戲治療中所產生的改變。
工作坊一開始將探討「初始與持續性的家長晤談」。運用沙盤是一種遊戲化且非侵入性的方式,從家長那裡獲取資訊。同時,這樣的遊戲方式也能讓家長更深刻地理解「遊戲如何具有療癒性」。此外,在家長晤談中進行「親子二人互動活動」能幫助家長獲得洞察、增進與孩子的連結,並持續深化親子關係。
最後,工作坊也會探討如何將沙盤運用於家庭遊戲治療,並提供建立「家庭沙盤」與安排一個家庭治療單元的步驟。課程中會介紹與實際體驗不同的帶領家庭遊戲單元的方式。
同時,也會簡要回顧與家庭相關的沙盤治療研究。
在這兩天課程中,學員將有多次機會實際體驗多種可以運用於與家長與家庭工作的活動。
